Theatre on the Run Cast Announced! – Matthews Opera House

The 2014 Theatre on the Run is excited and proud to announce this year’s cast members. Rehearsals have been ongoing and filled with laughs. The cast is also happy to know that this year’s ticket sales have been very brisk.

The cast of this year’s Theatre on the Run is very diverse, ranging from excited, new performers to seasoned veterans. Two such actresses are BHSU alumna Hannah Kloiber and BHSU faculty member Dr. Pamela Wegner. Max G. Merchen will be continuing to direct this year’s Theatre on the Run. He has been involved in community theater productions through the Matthew’s Opera House for the last fifteen years.

A word from the director…

“There is no greater thrill than to bring the printed page to life,” says Mr. Merchen when questioned on his love for theater. He continues, “reaching deep inside the audience and evoking an emotion, whether it’s tickling the funny bone or engaging a sense of compassion, connecting on an emotional level is very rewarding.” Be sure to see this passion come alive on stage on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at this year’s Theatre on the Run.
