In this deliciously funny Southern-fried comedy, the Verdeen cousins of Sweetgum, Texas; Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette – are up against the clock as they frantically and hilariously attempt to produce the “ultimate high school reunion” before the old building is demolished.
“The inhabitants of Sweetgum, TX and neighboring Fayro, first warmed our hearts in 2012 with “Red Velvet Cake War,” followed in 2013 by “Rex’s Exes.” 2014 was dormant only because the play you are about to see was still being written,” remarks director, Max G. Merchen. “This is the South Dakota premier of this Jones Hope Wooten comedy. If you didn’t see one or both of the previous plays, never fear. This production is a stand-alone play in its own right,” continues Merchen.
