Attention Black Hills songwriters and/or musicians!
The Matthews is hosting a songwriting discussion and jam session with North Carolina indie band, Mispo, 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, Apr. 6.
Mipso band members will give an introduction to the history of North Carolina string music and it’s influence on their songwriting style.
This will be followed by a group discussion on songwriting and a jam session with the band. Local musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and songs to the discussion.
This free event is open to all ages. A cash bar will be available for refreshments.
