Join us in making secret book boxes for holding treasured keepsakes.  The Matthews staff will walk you through the process.  

Our FEBRUARY community art project will be held Feb. 9, 4-6 p.m. It involves creating your own Secret Books. The Matthews staff will walk you through the process of hollowing out old books and creating a secret space for your special belongings or artistic shadow box art for your shelf.

Bring your own special items to decorate your books. The Matthews is providing the books!

We’re using exacto knives, so ages 12 and up recommended for this FREE Big Read project.

Every second Tuesday during The Big Read (Jan – March), a free community art project will take place in the art gallery.
