The Matthews Opera House is hosting monthly community art projects in association with The Big Read.  These projects will be held the second Tuesday, January through March, in the Matthews Gallery.  

The next community art project will be held 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 8, in the art gallery.  The class involves creating paper feathers from recycled book pages.  The Matthews staff will walk you through the process of folding, cutting, and finishing handmade paper feathers to be used as bookmarks, pen toppers, and more.  

This community art project is open to adults and children of all ages.  This is a free event.  All material will be provided.
