The Matthews Opera House is excited to announce auditions for Theater: Running in the Place. This event will take the place of our annual Theater on the Run performance which had to be modified due to limitations during the COVID-19 pandemics.

Auditions for Theater: Running in Place is scheduled for July 20 & 21 from 6:30-8 p.m in The Matthews’ theater.

Directors for the five one-act plays are Hoodie Smock, Julie Walkins, Max G. Merchen, Elysia Pederson, and Darrin Pederson.

There are 16 roles available for a mix of male and female actors — age ranges 16+.

Performance dates will be September 18 & 19 with the possibility that one more show may be added on the 20.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please adhere to all social distancing guidelines during auditions. Masks are encouraged to be worn by all participants when not reading for an audition.
