We’re feeling the love at the Matthews
The BHSU Student and Faculty Art Show continues in the gallery until February 11 and we absolutely adore the creativity on display! Make sure to swing by and take a peek before it’s gone.
We’re completely smitten with this month’s Bellman Brown Bag! Join us as BHSU Professor Gina Gibson shares her experience as the first-ever Artist-in-Residence at the Sanford Underground Research Facility at noon on Wednesday, February 9. We’ll have the coffee on!
If you’re passionate about film and live music, you’re in for a treat with our presentation of Right in the Eye. This magical cine-concert on Thursday, February 24 will be a feast for the eyes, the ears, and the imagination!
Of course, we’re hopelessly devoted to community art projects. This month, we’re inviting you to lend a hand in the creation of the George Martin Memorial Mural. Come be a part of this larger-than-life, paint-by-numbers mural project! Be sure to wear clothes that can get a little dirty and join us in the theater on Saturday, February 26 from 11-3!
And for those who need a break from all the sweet somethings, we’ve got you covered with an adults-only drawing workshop! Join BHSU Art Professor Desy Schoeneweis on Saturday, February 12 from 6 – 9 p.m. for My Bloody Valentine: An Anti-Valentine’s Day Drink and Draw.
