The weather is finally getting warmer and spring is officially here! To celebrate the sunnier seasons coming our way, we are creating a challenge to households across the Spearfish area!
If you have access to a sidewalk (that you can safely practice social distancing on) we want you and your household to create a beautiful work of art using sidewalk chalk. We’ll post these amazing creations online and have people vote for their favorite. Here are the details:
- Create a work of art on your sidewalk. It can be anything you want. Let your creativity shine!
- Post a picture of it on Facebook before April 30 and be sure to tag the Matthews Opera House Facebook page and use #MatthewsChalkChallenge
- On May 1, we will share everyone’s art and ask the public to vote for their favorite.
- Winner will get a free quart of Leones’ ice cream! Second and third place winners will get a free scoop from Leones’!
