SUMMARY:The Lowest Pair
DESCRIPTION:The Lowest Pair brings the kind of folk music that feels like a conversation between old friends. This acoustic duo has built a devoted following across the country with their intricate fingerstyle guitar work\, tight harmonies\, and songs that hit somewhere between funny and heartbreaking. They’re the kind of artists who can fill a room with just two guitars and leave you wondering how something so simple can feel so complete. \n\n\n\nJoin us Thursday\, July 2\, 2026 at The Matthews Opera House for an evening of genuine\, unfiltered folk music. Doors open at 6:30 PM\, with the show starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $25 General Admission and available now. Bring a friend\, settle in\, and let their music remind you why live performance matters. \n\n\n\nTouring behind their critically acclaimed eighth album Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be (produced by Tucker Martine of The Decemberists). Named NPR’s Best New Music. “These are iconic voices\, they are both so sonically interesting. Lush\, power-pop Americana.” — NPR Music. \n\n\n\nFor 120 years\, The Matthews has been the creative heart of downtown Spearfish\, and nights like this are exactly why. We’re proud to bring artists like The Lowest Pair to our community and to keep this beautiful space alive with music that moves people. \n\n\n\nSeats are limited and this kind of intimate\, authentic music doesn’t come through often. Grab your tickets now and be part of something special.
