Learn brush control\, basic kanji characters\, and the meditative philosophy behind this beautiful traditional craft. Free to attend\, with only 12 places available. \nAbout the Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI)\nThe Japan Outreach Initiative (JOI) is a joint program of the Japan Foundation and Laurasian Institution\, designed to bring native Japanese cultural coordinators to regions of the U.S. where Japanese cultural experiences are limited.
