DESCRIPTION:This is a required workshop for all REGISTERED children in the Peanut Butter & Jelly Players production of “Beauty and the Beast\, Jr.” \nDue to so many snow days this past year\, Spearfish schools have a late school year dismissal of June 3\, which has cut into our time with the children.  Therefore\, Director Ann Froelich\, and Assistant Director\, Joanna Mechaley\, have announced this early workshop to cover the following. \nAn acting workshop will be offered to all registered cast and crew on Saturday\, May 31 from 9 a.m. – noon. The workshop will be led by Joanna Mechaley and will cover areas such as voice projection\, enunciation\, character building and teamwork. This will be a fun\, creative time so please come dressed in comfortable clothing\, bring a snack and water bottle\, and be prepared to break out of your shell. Rehearsal materials for Beauty and the Beast will also be distributed at this time. This is a required workshop for all registered cast and crew for Beauty and the Beast\, and participation is limited to participants in this performance. \nIf your registered child does not attend this workshop\, he/she will not be able to participate in this year’s production.
