SUMMARY:Introduction to Relief: Registration Full
DESCRIPTION:We welcome you to join us from 5-8 pm on Friday\, February 24 in the Matthews Art Gallery for a linocut printing project\, Introduction to Relief\, with BHSU art instructor Michael Baum. \nDuring this introductory workshop participants will become acquainted with the relief printmaking process through making a linocut. Artists will create a design\, transfer the design to a piece of linoleum\, carve\, and print a small edition of linocuts. This workshop will focus on proper tool usage and maintenance\, inking strategies\, and at home printing tips. By the end of this workshop\, all participants will have a basic understanding of linocut and how to print in a professional print shop and at home. Supplies will be provided. \nThis workshop is free to attend\, however\, space is limited to 10 participants.
