DESCRIPTION:This Mother’s Day\, immerse yourself in the sounds of a bygone era with Dave Martinson’s Big Band! The 17-piece band along with two vocalists performs a variety of “big band” music from the 1940’s-the present. \n\nSturgis musician Dave Martinson leads to ensemble\, which has performed for the Sturgis Area Arts Council\, the Hospice Ball in Spearfish\, Main Street Square in Rapid City and his horn section backed the Rat Pack Tribute Show from Las Vegas at the RC Civic Center. Martinson also recently performed with rock legend Lynyrd Skynyrd at their concert Oct. 12 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls and The Box Tops at Kool Deadwood Nights.
